This GMT is in overall great vintage condition consistent with age. The case has been polished and the bezel shows some wear with scratches. The dial is overall nice with some patina and spotting throughout. The hour markers and hands have developed patina. The lume in the hands and on the dial has aged to a similar color and some of the lume has aged to a greenish color. The Rolex USA bracelet is in good condition with some wear and stretch between the links which is very common for Jubilee bracelets of this age.
The reference 1675 is the second iteration of the original GMT Master and was offered in many variations. A handful of metal options were produced under ref. 1675, including the steel and gold like the example we have here. It pairs the two-tone finish with a beautiful brown dial with brown and gold bezel. However, what really sets this watch apart from other vintage Rolexes on the market are the charming yellow gold nipple hour markers and overall “Root Beer” motif. Collectors have nicknamed these GMT’s with brown dials as “Root beer” GMT’s because of the color similarities. These “Root Beer” GMT’s offer that quintessential vintage vibe especially when on the jubilee bracelet.

Great watch and very good help from Sam Berger who catered to my concerns.

Well represented watch in excellent condition. Super fast shipping. My second purchase from Bobs but not my last. Their watches seem to be in better condition than many of the others I’ve seen online.
The whole transaction process with Bob's is always top notch. The vintage watch was functioning as expected, the case is relatively strong with minimal polishing, and the dial is a beautiful service dial as expected.
I really like this beautiful 1675 with fuchsia bezel.
Quick e-mail responses, systematic
I have worn this watch everyday for 47 years, had it cleaned every 8 or so years, had the bezel replaced with the new one back in the 80s. Paid $400 in Switzerland in 1970. This is the greatest lifetime deal ever!!
